A recent discovery has found that a little more than 10 percent of employees comprising in Facebook use to work for Google. Of the 1600 Facebook employees, 200 of these use to work previously at Google. this is an interesting discovery which was found in a recent profile article by New York Times on Sheryl Sandberg and Mark Zuckerberg.
Of the 10 percent who have shifted over, this also means that roughly about 1 percent of employees in Google have shifted. Google with a lot more employees at 22,000 employees, compared to Facebook, but there seems to be a slight shift of employees moving from one creative organization and business to another.
Take for example the recent departure of Erick Tsend from the Android team who is now also working in Facebook, managing and leading the mobile products. This really does show the extent to how Facebook has in fact influenced us not just in the way of social life but professional life as well.
